Boxing, stress and wellbeing

Boxing as Therapy? Training and Wellbeing at LUCIEOut of your head. Into your body.

A boxing workout can be a physical outlet and create space for focus. At LUCIE you train safely on aquabags, in a group or with personal coaching.

01

A physical reset.

Every boxing combination requires attention to breathing, posture, timing and power. That makes it difficult to stay occupied with daily thoughts at the same time.

Many athletes experience intense movement as a way to release tension. This is a personal experience, not medical treatment.

  • Focus on movement and technique
  • Release energy on the aquabag
  • Train without physical contact
  • Recover after the session
02

Body awareness in motion.

A coach helps you notice where a movement starts, how your breathing changes and when tension takes over your technique.

By training more calmly or powerfully, you learn to recognise signals from your body. You remain in control of your intensity.

  • Breathing and rhythm
  • Posture and balance
  • Limits during effort
  • Technique over speed
03

Group or one-to-one.

A group class offers music, rhythm and community. Personal training gives more room to adapt the session to your capacity and training goal.

If you experience mental health problems, trauma, burnout or PTSD, discuss appropriate treatment with a doctor or qualified professional. Training can only be a complementary activity.

  • Contact-free group classes
  • Personal training by appointment
